Clytie Dangar elected to Austmine Board

A huge congratulations to our own Clytie Dangar, and Alison Price from SoilCyclers, on being elected to the Board of Austmine.

Austmine, the leading industry body for the Australian Mining, Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector announced the two newly appointed Directors following its Members’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 28 October 2019.Clytie_Dangar_766A7877_6x8.jpgClytie Dangar

Clytie is General Manager - Commercialisation with CRC ORE and brings significant METS sector experience to the Board, with leadership roles at KPMG and Orica. She has been instrumental in driving strategic engagement with miners, METS and researchers, Government, industry groups (including Austmine) and other stakeholders to advance the development and delivery of innovative mining technology. Clytie’s role sees her leading the successful commercialisation of the CRC ORE Grade Engineering and Integrated Extraction Simulator technologies.

Alison Price is SoilCyclers Managing Director and brings a diverse skill set and knowledge to the Board, with a variety of experience working for SMEs, large multinationals and government across a variety of industries from FMCG to telecommunications, insurance, emergency services, construction and waste. She is also the Director and the Vice Chair of the Board of the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC), sits on the Board of the Waste Recycling Industry Association of Queensland (WRIQ) and is an Environment Committee Member and Diversity Committee Member for Civil Contractors Federation Queensland.

A total of six Board positions were up for election, with Brad Shaw, Corporate Finance Director, Xrosswork; Patrick Smith, Managing Director and CEO, AMC Consultants; Mark Warren, Managing Director, Optiro and Dallas Wilkinson, Managing Director Asia Pacific, Dennemeyer Group successfully gaining re-election.

The appointment of Clytie helps further CRC ORE's long term partnership with Austmine.
