CRC ORE's project portfolio was delivered across five key areas. The first four programs were CRC ORE's research programs. Program 5 consisted of projects being implemented at mine sites.
New and novel testing, measurement and mapping technologies to characterise and quantify waste and ore for coarse separation attributes as inputs into Grade Engineering® assessment and mine planning.
Integration of operational strategies and engineering solutions to effect coarse separation in the dig and deliver interface. Projects focused on ensuring that approaches were optimised for net value.
New processing circuit designs, integrated simulation capabilities and operational control systems to exploit changes in grade and other physical properties resulting from Grade Engineered feed streams.
The disruptive and dynamic opportunities that coarse separation delivers through Grade Engineering® required a more effective approach to whole of system control and execution.
CRC ORE, through its collaborative partnerships, undertook testing at mine sites around the world as the platform for its research and development.
